Choose Start and End Frame for 2D Animation
Hello, if I have a 2D platformer and I'm importing animations from Spine, is there a way to select a specific start and end frame within an animation?
Example: I have a character jumping. Rather than just cut immediately to the "falling" cycle, I wanted to have a few frames of the character springing up, and a few frames at the end when they land to bend their legs.
So right now, I have a single "Jump" animation that consists of:
Frames 0-4 = Character springs up
Frames 5-15 = Actual looping section of them falling
Frames 16-20 = Character landing
Is there a way to do it so when player jumps, it first plays:
Frames 0-4 to spring up. Then LOOPS frames 5-15 while player is in the air?
Or do I need to separate it and make for example two different animations like
Jump
JumpLoop
Thanks!
