Stuck on EditorApplication.playModeStateChanged when hitting play

When pressing play I get stuck on EditorApplication.playModeStateChanged for around 1-2 minutes. Something that hasn't happened before. I don't think there is any new scripts or anything added. Anyone can relate? Any fixes?
