Please help me make a Tree in Blender (2.8+) for Unity 3D Terrain
I tried and tried and tried. Please do not refer me to other answers, for example this one: https://answers.unity.com/questions/484149/trees-on-terrain-appear-sideways.html
I have tried and it simply is not working for me. I know how to make models in blender. I know a bit about using Unity. For example, I am making a game in Unity and I am using blender 2.82.7 to make the models. Everthing is working fine. But when it comes to the Terrain object things are going horrible for me. I can made models of trees in Blender and I have placed these around me game as tests and decoration but when I try to used the Unity Terrain editor THE TREES COME OUT SIDEWAYS!!!!
Now, the link i have added above is from @Azul_Shiva where they say "This has to do with Blender having its Y anx Z axis switched. In blender simply go into edit mode and do R X 90 and then in Object Mode R X -90."
Folks, I have tried this! I have please believe me. I think it is a bug in Blender. For the first time I am thinking of going away from Blender, just simply leaving it and using something else that I can work with. I have to believe that other people use Blender to make for Unity engines Terrain object. It simply can be JUST ME that has this issue. That is why I am asking this here, a new fresh response, as clear as possible because I feel like a dumbass at this point.
It is getting me down that there is no help that I can use online. Please please please help me.
