My license says error is "remove activations" but isn't activated on any computer anymore, what should I do?
I bought Unity years ago it was version 3.X and I also have the iOS and Android modules added. I used it regularly years ago but several times had to make a fresh Windows install on my PC (at the end I will share why I had to do the fresh windows installs). Currently I am trying to install 3.X to start using it again - the install finished but when it attempted to launch it asked for "Internet Activation" - however when I put my key in it says "Serial has reached the maximum number of activations. Disable existing activations to reuse this serial key." However I have 0 activations on the license AND this is the PC it was active on ages ago.
How can I get this to work with licensing working again? I am on the same PC, the same person, have the purchase documentation proof - I just currently can't activate and use Unity 3.X...
The Windows issues: - Fresh install when Win 8 came since I got a license - Win 8 gave me the free Win 10 upgrade license however that update didnt work so I had to freshly install Win 10 (from scratch, saved nothing) - A new Win 10 update (a few weeks ago) broke Win10 on my PC and my Tablet and a laptop I help work on and fix - fresh brand new Win 10 install
Hence needing to re-install Unity but being unable to.

Unity answers is for questions about development with Unity for community. For licensing issues you should contact Unity support directly. https://unity3d.com/contact
I will contact them, however why is there a question category for "licenses"?
Well there are ton of possible licenses related stuff you could ask. For example something about licenses regardin stuff from asset store which would be related to game development progress.
