Unity crashed my windows
So after rebooting my laptop and installing a clean windows 10 through rebootable usb, I downloaded Google, winrar and all the basic files Everything was working fine until I installed Unity 2019.4, imported one of my old projects which was around 4-5 GB in size When I first ran it, it was kinda jerky but got smooth later(note the project used many spot lights set to real time rendering and with the default pixel count on Ultra quality settings) , so I stopped the running and went to change the quality from ultra to medium As soon as I went into quality, things got really slow response and when I selected medium and then proceeded to change the pixel count, the system gave me a blue screen error(your device has ran into a problem etc) and it restarted but this time didn't let me access the system and said to select a rebootable device and press any key I switched off the laptop for sometime
After I turned it on again, it let me access windows but as soon as I opened unity, while launching it crashed again and after that now it doesn't even let me get through the login screen without giving the blue screen error
To summarize, after rebooting everything was working fine, I had the laptop on for 5 hours to re-download all the files and windows update, then another 5 hours to download unity, the versions and import the project but as soon as I ran the project, things got really slow and when I decided to change the quality settings, my windows crashed..
[IMP] before all this, I had been using unity to create many similar projects which were even bigger in size and used more resources so it's definitely not a problem with my laptops specifications Its a basic spec ASUS i5, 8th generation with the basic nvidia GeForce
Idk why this problem happened all of a sudden One day I was just using unity, but my windows crashed(blue screen error) and I was taken to the select a reboot device black screen, after which when I was able to access windows, the unity files had been corrupted and I tried everything to make it work but it didn't work, so I had to reinstall windows 10 and then all this happened...
Could it be a problem with my laptop's HDD or perhaps some error while installing the windows 10 files if it's not unity??
