CharacterController Slope Limit not working, character climbs onto everything
And when I say he can climb everything, I don't mean the fictional character I'm trying to depict (which, yeah he can do that) but rather my player object.
I'm using Unity's CharacterController component to move the player for a change and one of the biggest pains in the backside about it is this slope limit. It's supposed to prevent the object from going up slopes above the set angle (right?) but for me it can climb up anything as long as it's either:
pushed into it
is walking diagonally to the corner of an object, making it shoot up to the top for some reason
I've tried setting the slope limit itself to every value possible, kept changing the way I apply gravity to it, as I saw some people suggest that you have to have it pull down on the object for slope limits to work. I don't know what else I can do to fix it.
Is this just a CharacterController thing? Should I just make my own navigation script like I usually do?
