3D Input Issues regarding Two Player Game - When both Left Joysticks get moved, the movement glitches
Hello everyone!
Im currently working with the "new" Unity Input System, and the main problem I'm facing is the movement.
I've got the code checking which controller moves the left stick and when only moving one stick, this works completely fine - Player One can only be controlled through the gamepad that is spot 0 in the index, same goes for Player Two.
The problem is though, that when both players move the left stick at the same time, the movement gets completely messed up. It seems that both inputs get added into one, however this shouldn't happen since the input up until then only registers the input from the correct controller - Why does it now react to the other controller??
Also, when moving both players at the same time, and now one player doesn't input anymore, the player object gets continuous input into a direction, looking like the last input it got before the player let go of the stick. Now however, it again doesn't register the input from the other gamepad.
I know this will read extremely confusing, but I hope someone had the same issue regarding a multiplayer game^^ I also know that there is the possibility to work through a player input manager and to spawn in prefabs one at a time, however I'm currently also trying this, which again has some issues that will need fixing :D
