Rigging rotation and animation problems
I rig and animate my characters in unity, using empty game objects as joints. For the most part, it works as it should and as normal. A joint (empty game object) is on the end of a cube lets say, and so when I rotate the joint, the cube moves around it as it should. But sometimes I'll start unity and for some reason it just won't work. The joint seems to be inside the cube, no matter what I do, I rotate, and it's like it just rotates the cube about its origin. All rigging is thrown out the window and I can't animate when unity does this. And I haven't found a way to fix it. Sometimes it fixes itself and returns to normal and I rejoice but sometimes it breaks for no reason and I have no choice but to wait until it's randomly normal again. I restart unity, my computer, and still, nothing. A few days later it may be fixed, with no explanation as to why. Why is this? Please help me I feel like I'm cursed. I've seen no one else with this problem.
