Animation Rigging problem -- hand won't match target exactly
I have been following along with a third-person shooter tutorial by thekiwicoder on YouTube, and I am stuck at the part where the Animation Rigging package is implemented. The position and rotation of the character's hand is supposed to match that of a target gameobject, but for me it won't... at least not all the way. It seems to lag behind, and, at some point, it just stops following the target completely, no matter how far away I move the target. The character's arm seems determined to stay bent. Does anyone know a solution to this issue?
For anyone who may be interested, here is the playlist for the aforementioned tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CS7MudfyDzM&list=PLyBYG1JGBcd1E4CigRSDE9YdH8syiDY6-∈dex=1
