How to dynamically BAKE lighting?
Hello, I am currently working on a low-poly mobile racing game. In the game, I am willing to add Forge from Halo. It is basically a level editor. Since it is a dynamic level edited by the players, I can't simply bake the lighting. But what I can do is to add dynamic lighting which is extremely heavy on mobiles. The only other way is to let the player bake lighting and play the level whenever he/she wants without any runtime overhead.
The default Unity Lightmapping API is editor-only and will not work at runtime.
While researching, I have come across SEGI. It is a great tool but it is fully dynamic and it may not work for mobile.
So, if anyone knows how to bake lighting at runtime, please help me.
Thanks in advance.
