How to playback 360 video in a scene for Gear VR
I would like to playback a 360 video in a scene to the user when activated.
I would like to NOT purchase an asset to do so as I would like to learn how to do this. Also knowing how to do these things oneself gives one comfort when it comes to optimization and troubleshooting later on. The platform I would like it to work on is Android for the Gear VR.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Did you find any useful info on this? I'm trying to do the same thing.
I found the following (useful) thread, but it provides somewhat limited options.

Did you get any solution for this? I am working on the same. I made this work by converting the video in video frames but size is an issue

Nope. Besides for the purchased asset I was not able to find anything that didn't make the sphere stay white or be inverted. Closest I got.
