how to get better lighting
I am making a low poly vr game and I realized my lighting was pretty bad after looking at some references! how do it get it looking like this:
to looking like THIS:

You might want to try having a look at URP for this, due to its effective lighting system and rendering tools. I would first try angling your directional light a bit, to get the shadows to stretch, almost like an evening setting.
And also post processing, for a bloom-like effect on suns or bright lamps, as well as screen-space reflections, which help surfaces come to life.
i'm already in urp. i guess to be more specific how do I get the meshes to reflect like that?

Flick around with the colours and bring the light closer or farther. Make sure you have baked the light or configure lighting settings. You can also use point light or different kinds etc.
