Question turns out to be a bug, no answer needed.
Unity editor opens scene a million times until computer freezes
In my current project I have a scene that instantiates everything, gets stats and the player ready, and then goes into the next scene. This is so that i can change between scenes as the player, without having duplicates of the player spawned every time i get to the first scene. This method had never had problems, it worked fine several minutes ago. But now when i try to run it through the editor it starts, loads the player and game manager, etc. It then loads into the scene it's supposed to, then it loads back to the initialization scene, then it loads the scene i want it to, etc. Every time it does this grayed out object gets added to the hierarchy with the name of one of the two scenes with the text "(not loaded) next to it, in an infinite loop until I force unity to close. I don't know what's causing this I havent changed anything, and opening and running any other scene causes no problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Just updated to the new Unity and it hasn't fixed anything, does anyone else have this problem?
So if i remove the initialization scene from the build settings it works just fine. I'm guessing this is a bug, but i'm going to need to have that scene when i build my project again, so if anybody finds a fix please let me know.
