Big performance drop when using blendshapes
Hi all,
I made a human character with shapekeys. To shape ears, nose, forehead for a start. The rest is rigged with bones for animation. When i leave my shape keys at value 0 i get a nice 200 fps spawning 600 character objects in game. However when i change the blendshape values for different sizes in ear, nose, forehead. FPS drops to 40fps. Any idea what is causing this? Do blendshape keys negatively affect performance?
