Crashing after placing terrain
I made a scene with 8 terrain blocks default size with content scattered across it all. Then I decided to add 8 more and save, now Unity crashes whenever I try to open that particular scene. Here is the error messages that I get just before it crashes:
Assertion failed on expression: 'SUCCEEDED(hr)' D3D11: Failed to create RenderTexture (2048 x 2048 fmt 39 aa 1),error 0x8007000e D3D11: Failed to create RenderTexture (542 x 563 fmt 27 aa 1),error 0x8007000e InitD3D11RenderColorSurface: VRDevice said it created a texture, but the texture is NULL. VR platform drivers may be running with elevated privileges.
Anyone have this happen to them before and can help me?
Hi there,
Sorry you're having some issues with your terrain. Your errors don't seem to necessarily relate to the problem you seem to be having - but maybe we can figure this out.
Do you have any RenderTextures in your project at all? And if so, are they present in that scene?
It also seems like you have some Virtual Reality compatibility issues going on. Are you exporting this project to a VR platform?
Hope we can narrow this issue down and help solve the problem!
@Addyarb I do have many textures all over my scene and I do have VR packages installed to my PC, but I did not set them up for Unity yet.
Should I uninstall my VR packages?
