Physics without UnityEngine namespace

Is it in any way possible to use the Physics.CheckSphere or a similar method to check for collision, I could imagine this being a problem as the colliders is a part of UnityEngine too, but I need to do some physics calls in another thread or because I want to check 25000000 points for collision in a non monobehaviour class, I know that unity is thread safe.

If it's points in a sphere then it's distance to the centre, isn't it? How about

 if (Vector3.Distance(pointx, centreOfSphere) < x)

or

 if ((pointx - centreOfSphere).sqrt$$anonymous$$agnitude < $$anonymous$$athf.Pow(x,2))
