LineRenderer.positionCount compilation error
I've been working on Unity 5.5/visual studio 2015 for some time, and this week I updated to Unity 5.6/VS2017.
While the project works, when Unity updated the scripts to fit 5.6, it changed the Linerenderer.numPositions method to LineRenderer.positionCount.
Unity runs fine, but VS2017 complains about a compilation error, with the following message: "Error CS1061 'LineRenderer' does not contain a definition for 'positionCount' and no extension method 'positionCount' accepting a first argument of type 'LineRenderer' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) "
While not affecting the game itself, I cannot attach to Unity as VS believes I have compliation errors in the code, thus offering me to run old versions (which will cause other issues).
The VS2017 unity tools were installed from VS installer, as Unity attempted to install a different version of visual studio for some reason.
Is there a way to fix this?
