How can I get Unity to automatically import a package?
Basically, I'm trying to have Unity automatically import the VSTU package on load, to whichever project is currently open. There must be some way of doing this, as Unity now provides the tools as a built-in feature.
This is because we have a lab with Unity set up in it and a previous install made it so that VSTU only got installed for some users on some machines. The reason we need automatic import is because we have many non-technical (design) students, who particularly in their first year are not expected to understand the entire workflow.
I'd also point out that VSTU is installed for these users, just Unity decides not to load it for them (and it is not available in the import packages menu). Unity does however automatically detect both versions of Visual Studio installed on the machines when changing the default editor.
What version of Unity are you using? These tools are built into Unity in recent versions and there is nothing you need to import into your project for it.
sorry for unclear description. Not VSTU. I mean other general package .e.g some 3rd part editor- extension or the like. etc.

You can create "custom template" for unity hub.
