Reflection probes overriding roughness
I am using a reflection probe within a small dorm room scene in order to make surfaces such as the varnished floor to reflect its surroundings. The only problem is, I have found that when a reflection probe is affecting objects, it prevents a texture in the metallic section of the standard shader from affecting how diffuse the reflections are.
I assume that this is a feature with reflection probes as the shader and textures work fine when using the skybox with global illumination.
