Slow download executing external library in async method
Hi all,
I'm writing a Unity integration for our open-source software, Speckle, it substantially sends and receives data (geometry & more) to a central server. The integration (hosted here) uses the same .NET library we are using in other .NET based software, but in Unity the download speed of data is like ~10 time slower.
In these specific lines I'm calling our library (Core) that downloads data from the server. Even disabling the onProgressAction
callback the method results much slower than when run outside Unity.
Does anyone have any ideas why that might be happening? Could it be because of improper use of away/async?
