Inspector scene and hierarchy views all grayed out in play mode.

I have been using Unity 3d 5.6 for about 7 months now and still feel like a newbie. Everything has been smooth going till last Thursday. I ran my app on Thursday and all "Views" turned gray. Please look at attached screen prints. The only thing different I did was on Thursday I created my first animation. After that I have not had the regular look of the views. Mik
