Why the Animation Clip in Timeline is disabled gray I can't change animation clip ?
Marked it with blue ellipse on the right in the inspector. The field of the Animation Clip is disabled gray. It wasn't before.
I didn't change anything. On the Main Camera I have the Cinemachine Brain component. I have the virtual camera. When I click play on the timeline or the editor the animation/s are working fine.
But I can't change the animation clip. It's gray disabled. I can't figure out how to fix it or enable it.
Not that I know. At least I don't know that I wanted to do it.
Also tried to close the project and re opened it not fixed.
The current version of the editor is 2018.2.5f1 and this was the original version. Then I tried to change the editor to 2018.3.0b12 but since I had problems I'm running the project again on the 2018.2.5f1 version.
And it worked fine but for some reason suddenly it become to be disabled.

Try Duplicating the animation clip and editing the duplicate one.
