How to prevent child GameObjects from inheriting Button onHover command?(wording this wrong)
Hello everyone! So I have a big issue with my UI. I have a button that, when using OnPointerEnter, pops up a small description menu, which is a child of the GameObject the Button script is on. This is all fine, however when I quickly move my mouse onto the description menu it chooses to act as though I'm hovering over the button image, which is causing all sorts of issues(rapidly tweening in and out, giving a strobe-like effect which is very gross). Does anyone know why this is happening? And if so, how this can be fixed? Thank you!
If you don't want a childed object to inherit from the UI events of its parent, simply uncheck the "Raycast Target" button on the Image/Text component of the child object.
Hard to tell without some code. Can you post an example of what you wrote?
