Moved into the META space as it's not exactly about game development with the Unity engine but about UA / Unity ID.
The unity ID is free and can be used to interact with the unity services like the unity hub, from, answer page and so on. Unless you are subscribing to any payed services no credit card is required.
Unity ID is completly free, you can keep it for years to come, Unity Community edition is free as well. you have to pay only for some of the paid assets and the Unity Pro.
