Non-convex mesh collider vs box collider perfomance
If I use a static object (cupboard or kitchen set).Would it be significantly less productive to use a mesh collider (without convex) or would it be better to make a lot of small box colliders.
Comment
Mesh colliders that are non-convex have a significantly more complicated and larger amount of geometry than multiple box colliders. However mesh colliders can be baked and are optimized before use, so there's not a significant drop in FPS if you use mesh colliders instead.
Setting it to convex would be very optimal, and would also generally maintain the original shape. In summary, there's no need to worry about optimization - mesh colliders are fine.
