Mesh Baker - maintaining interactivity of individual source objects
Not sure if this is the correct place to ask. We are using mesh baker to reduce batch calls for a VR app we're working on. The source renderers are turned off, but the source game objects have colliders we are using for interactivity. That interactivity ideally changes the mesh of the original source object, which has now been baked into one mesh. Is there a way of referencing the poly's of the original mesh in the new combined mesh so that they can be modified or isolated in some way? We want to apply a highlight or outline effect to that part of the combined mesh.
Thanks.
