Rotation for ios
So her is my situation. I an using unity on ios. I have script that will when tapped, add forward force to an object. but i want to be able to rotate the camera around the scene for different views. Forward is no longer a constaint.
Question is? Is forward or y dictated by the world space or is it y of the camera?
Think of a checker gaem where you watn to look at it frontwards or backwards or side ways. Any sugestions? Thanks
'Forward' is always relative to something, be it the world or an object. I'm afraid I don't really understand your question- no there is absolutely no reason why you can't just define 'forward' to be whatever you want it to be. You can even implement exotic coordinate systems, and even exotic geometries- I'm currently trying to work out a $$anonymous$$lein bottle world!
