Need help adjusting elements for all resolutions
I'm making a 2D for tablets, and i need to support all kinds of resolutions. I've mostly done almost everything using UI, and it worked great.
but now i've got a problem, with some elements that most be in the "World Space" (since i use flash animation with GAF converter).
so this what happens: in the top part, i work with my native resolution of 2048x1200 in the bottom picture, when i change to 2024x1536, the screen is smaller, and you can't see the whole camera view, so it gets cut off.
This was a non-issue with UI, because of the anchor system, but i'm clueless how can I do something similar with sprites that are not on the UI
Can't you just export the .swf to .gif? Would that help in any way?
Having UI elements in World Space usually means their position should not be scaled by screen size. ;)
The converter also automatically creates mechanim animations, and let's me have greater control of the animation in general.. almost like creating the animation in unity. I've never tried using gifs though.. but right now that's not a likely option.
Having used flash only in school and not within Unity, I'm not much of a helping hand here.
I edited your question's topics(formerly called tags) to suit the question better, and maybe get the attention of some flash veterans who can guide you. ;)
