How to make a mesh tilemap
I saw people make tilemaps of meshes but I'm not sure how would I tell individual tiles on the mesh to do certain things like change their texture in particular, hold some value or create a collider. I'm planning to make a 2d proceduraly generated world so a perlin noise value applied to any tile based on it's [x,y] would be perfect. Separating this map into chunks is also an idea. I find this to be a far better choice than millions of tile gameObjects.
