Help on RAIN AI Basic Animator? (Documentation missing)
I've spent a whole day searching for this but came up with nothing. All the old videos and tutorials of RAIN, I've combed through them all, and they all seem to be outdated and I can't find any sort of documentation or reference to this very basic problem I'm facing.
So in a nutshell, I downloaded one of the free Max models and attached a RAIN AI component to it, and am trying to integrate the animation into the RAIN behaviour. Now in EVERY tutorial I've come across, the process is quite simple as RAIN automatically processes the animations like so:
However I'm using the latest version of RAIN, and the Basic Animator it currently runs with makes no sense: This is what it shows:
I'm just hoping there's just someone out there who's used the latest version of RAIN and can provide me on some brief guidance, there's literally nowhere else I can look. Thank you so much :)

I'm having the same issue. Not sure if the RAIN AI is broken since the latest update.

I'm in the same boat. Looks like the Mecanim and their Legacy Animator are deprecated, but are usable if you set 'Show Deprecated Classes' to true in the RAIN settings. The Mecanim Animator is missing fields too, which I think makes it unusable anyway.
EDIT: Not sure if it's the correct way to do so, but in the BehaviorEditor, try using the Mecanim Set Parameter nodes. You can specify the name, type, and value of Animator Controller parameters.
