Self made Blender model rotates on animation start
Context: I created, rigged, and skinned a simple human model in Blender for education purposes. Then, after importing the model, I was asked to reassign a few bones, which I did. I placed the prefab without any problems into the scene and tried to animate it using animations from different packs and some self-made ones, which were and are working on other models just fine.
But on this model, these animations rotate the character on animation start by 90 degrees. Why?
What I tried:
Turn apply root motion off
Changed the animation import settings like root transform position/rotation to original
Turn the model in Blender -90 degrees around the x axis
Apply location, rotation, and scale in Blender
