creating holes in a ship
it's a simple question with a (probably) difficult answer. I have a cannon that shoots at a ship, and i have a stencil buffer system that removes the ships behind the hole, both looking in and out. problem is, it removes way too much! looking towards the ship it removes the whole, but it also removes EVERYTHING behind it. is there a way to make it only remove the mesh it is touching somehow. thx in advance.
