Oddities with UI InputSystem on "Build and Run"
I'm trying my hand at building the first steps on a pause screen UI and I keep running into discrepancies between playing the game in the editor and playing the game after a "Build and Run".
EDIT
I switched the movement to use the InputSystem events instead of the UI EventSystem and the WASD and arrow keys are still not triggering the proper events. Now it seems more an issue that while the game isn't accepting some keys after Build and Run? I can use these exact same keys during regular game play but not when the game is paused and the inputsystem is switch to use the UI events.
In Editor
When I play the game in the editor my Move events trigger correctly. I can move back and forth between the menu buttons using WASD or the arrow keys. The Submit event, which is set to space bar and Enter key, never triggers though.
Build and Run
When I Build and Run the game though, it's the reverse. I can no longer move between the buttons using the WASD and arrow keys but I can now press Space Bar and Enter to trigger the Submit event.
