Unity 2018.1.0f2 and Incremental Compiler – am I understanding this properly?
I'm trying to use the Jobs system in 2018.1.0f2.
I installed the Burst package first. Seems to be okay. Next I went for the Jobs package. After installing Jobs, says it needs the Collections package. Installed the Collections package. Says it needs Mathematics package. Beginning to wonder why this isn't all one package. Installed the Mathematics package. Many errors now, saying C# 7 support is needed.
If I understand this correctly, I need the Incremental Compiler package. This isn't in the package manager. I found here that it's now deprecated... so that's probably why it's not available in the Package Manager. Furthermore, that notice seems to be saying I need to use Unity "18.3's" ("2018.3's"?) built-in compiler.
Does this mean I cannot get jobs working in 2018.1.0f2?
And if so, shouldn't these packages be disabled in 2018.1.0f2? (And shouldn't they all be one package?)
