Unity Will Not Build Projects for Webplayers
When I click build as Webplayer, Unity stops for a second and acts like it didn't do anything. There is no .html or .unity3d file in the folder that I choose to build it in. I tried it with example projects, like Angrybots, and the same problem persisted. I even made a test project with a single sprite at the center of the screen and the same problem happened. There are no errors or messages and sometimes I'll even see a loading bar, but when I check the folder I selected, there will be no new files. What could be happening?
Also, there is only one project that I have been able to build for webplayer, and while it works when I launch it through chrome, it never loads if I've embedded it on a website.
Can you build an empty project? Can you play a game that was built from another machine?
Try opening the editor log file, which is noisy but sometimes includes errors that don't make it to the normal console window.
It doesn't even build an empty project. When I choose to build, it doesn't add any new files to launch. It stops as if I didn't click anything after I choose a folder location.
As far as logs go, this is all I found:
"140716 10:30:18 ------------------------------------------------------------ 140716 10:30:18 $$anonymous$$anager starting, version 4.5.1f3_73cd57f80e3e "
And
" 140717 11:05:18 ------------------------------------------------------------ 140717 11:05:18 Instance starting, version 4.5.1f3_73cd57f80e3e, UNITY_WEB_ENABLE_AUTODOWNLOAD: 1, GetDisableAutoUpdates(): 0 "
