Animations on a gun
I'm trying to make a sniper, but i can't get the animations how i want. does anyone know a script or tutorial to make a gun make an animation after every shot... as if it's cocking. Also how to do that on the reloading animation.
Btw: i've already made the animations but they don't happen when i want them too. I just want a script that says like... - - - - - - - -- - ------ -- - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Animation after each shot | | (Drag in animation)- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - Animation During Reload* | _| (Drag in animation) - - - - - - [Without all the lines]
And then you just drag the animation in and it will show in game when i shoot.
Does anyone know a script like that PLEASE
thank you
You need to give more details really. Are they playing at all? Are they too slow/fast? Can you not activate the particular part of the animation you want? Also, consider posting the part of your code that calls the animation.
I think 'the animations don't happen when I want them to.'
Apologies, I somehow read that as "animations don't happen how I want them to". The clarification edit is nevertheless a lot more helpful than the original version of the question.

Check out the fps tutorial at http://unity3d.com/support/resources/tutorials/. Hope this helps!!
Actually, it can be found under Example Projects (sorry to be picky, but I have a pet peeve of vague links :P) http://unity3d.com/support/resources/example-projects/3rdpersonshooter
Actually the exact link is here:

An example project like the link you put up doesn't really do anyone any good as you can't find the codes! XD!!
And you should really check the checkmark, $$anonymous$$, so that the computer doesn't keep on bumping this question up to the top in hopes that it will be answered!
