Multiple Model Variations on same Gameobject?
Hello, So i have 4 3D models, all of them same creature, but with slight modeled/texture variations as to try to not make them all look like exact clones of one another. though i'd like them all to be considered the same prefab, so that in my code if i just reference instantiating that 1 prefab, it'll have the same code/reference, but will spawn using a random one of those 4 models.
my original thought was somehow adding all 4 Models to the prefab, and simply randomly activating one of them, but i feel that would mess up other parts of code that reference hit-boxs, animations, and that having 4x the models in scene, but simply deactivated would mean a hit to performance. Anyone have any experience in doing this would be a great help! thanks!
