Is there a way a player can draw ingame

Is it possible for a player to draw absolutely anything.

And also even if they draw... and the purpose was for.. hypothetically a shirt Is there a way to convert what they draw into a 2D sprite/3D texture?

My idea is to make a a ball game and each player's ball can have preset design or player own design.
