              Image swapping sprites delay.
So I decided to write my own animated UI elements that swap sprites when highlighted, triggered, or just whenever I want them to. The first time they are activated the sprites there is a noticable delay, but every time after that it is buttery smooth, so I'm pretty sure it has to do with those sprites being loaded into memory. Does anyone know any methods for loading spirtes into memory, or even relevant tricks or work-arounds?
