Convert read-only animations to read&write?
I've been working on this project for school, and I've trying to get this walk cycle animation to work that I built in Blender. I keep trying to play it from a script and it says it cannot find the animation. So I did some research and found that animations with the animation type "2" cannot play from a script. So found you need to go into debug mode to change the type. And this is where I run into what I believe to be my last little snag when I imported over from Blender the file came in as a read only file. I know there is a way to duplicate all of the key frames and it rebuilds your animation. I just can't cant find it in the current version of Unity. Could some one point it out or point out or just give a small tutorial because I'm kind of lost in the new import settings.

I'm not sure about animation type "2" but nevertheless you should find that if you simply duplicate your blender file in your project pane, you will find that the duplicate is no longer read only and you should be able to edit or script accordingly.
Thank you that worked and the animation type thing worked too. I had just learned about it too.
