How to set the local rotation of a child object Or keep 1 axis aligned with another axis + face the camera with another axis.
I have a setup( shown in the picture using placeholders ). What id like to do is: 1) Have the Z axis aligned with the yellow vectors at all times. It doesn't have to "look at the parent" but be aligned with it from cameras point of view.) 2) At the same time, id like the Y axis to look at the camera.
I haven't even gotten to a point where all the children of the parents would align their z axis with the yellow vectors yet. On some occasions, they do align( on the second image ) but most of the time the rotation seems random.
The Scene structure is simple
    Sphere( parent game object )
         Blue Shields ( children )
