Third Person Controller problem (FBX model)
Hello,
I am using the standard Third Person Controller script and the most up to date version of Unity.
I have imported several FBX files (char, char@walk, char@jump etc) and set it all up.
When I test the game, as soon as I try to move the character with (WASD), it flips the character horizontally so he is lying face down in mid air. Animations play fine, it would all look good if he would just stay how he should.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

In case anybody is reading this, the problem was solved by exporting the main model (char, leave the animated files as they are) from 3DS after rotating it -90 degrees on the X axis. Of course, if all your animations are in the one FBX file just do the same. I hope I've helped someone :-)
Yeah $$anonymous$$ax has models look a different way by default. Well worth having this answer here though for reference.
$$anonymous$$ark it as answered (you can answer your own questions :)
Thank you very much, I didn't realise that I could do that! Done :-)
You can also just change the pivot point. $$anonymous$$ake sure the z axis (the blue arrow) is facing forward.
