Importing an asset that's been updated.
So yesterday I created a few 3D models in blender. Imported them into unity, and started using jut fine. From what I recal I was able to make changes to a model and re-import it just fine. But today I try to do that and it doesn't work. I have a doughnut with pink icing, I decide to add another type. So I open it in blender, change it to a chocolate doughnut and save it as a new .blend file. I Import it and it's still pink. I have another asset that I forgot to orientate to Y axis up for unity, I delete the model from in unity, rotate it in blender then re-import it. It's still the same as before it was deleted.
I tried creating a new unity project and importing the rotated asset and the chocolate doughnut into there and they were correct. So my existing unity project is remembering the asset I deleted, recognising the asset I'm trying to import and just re-loading the old one instead of bringing in the new one.
Am I doing something wrong and how do I get Unity to stop re-loading old assets when I want it to import new ones?
