Asset store will not load in editor or install asset from website.
I am using unity3d Personal 5.4.0f3. Asset store simply fails to load in editor at this time for some reason, just remains a grey screen. A reload does not work. I have also tried disabling Dx11 options and delete and re-installed Unity, no change. It will also not install an asset from the asset store via website.
After further tinkering, I undocked the asset store window from the editor, it will load and import assets that way, just not docked.
Any ideas? Thanks.
This is a known bug in 5.4.x (fixed in 5.4.2 reportedly) that I've also confirmed on Sierra OSX

The workaround to access the asset store when using mac OS Sierra is to drop the tab to a single window. Than you can see the asset store. Unity or Sierra don't support to display the asset store in the tab (embedded window).
