Whole computer tanks while starting Unity games.
When I start up any unity game that I've tried, my entire computer drops frame rate, including my windows hardware mouse cursor to about 15-30FPS for about 30 seconds or so til the unity launcher pops up with the resolution and quality selection. The mouse input lags as well and all programs slow to a crawl.
.
Games I've tried that have issues include:
AdVenture Capitalist
Reciever
Subnautica
The Forest
Surgeon Simulator
Plague Inc: Evolved
I've noticed however that Payday 2 does not have this issue.
.
Another game, Gear Up (which has its own whole other mess of problems) has the same issue when going into the graphics settings of the game while in-game, though from what I've gathered, it's not a unity game and is the only non unity game with a similar issue.
My PC Specs are:
Processor: i7 3770
RAM: 16GB 2133MHz Corsair DDR2
GFX: EVGA GeForce 970 SC ACX 2.0 w/ backplate
Motherboard: P8Z68 DELUXE/GEN3
Known operating systems with this issue:
Win 7 64bit
Win 10 64bit (upgrade)
