Using custom external tools for custom assets?
I have a custom asset type that is comprised of text, but which I don't want to edit in vs or any other ide, but rather from an external program of my choice. It seems that all text assets, regardless of extension, are always opened in the script editor set in preferences.
Is it possible to override the external program used to open a specific asset type, or text asset with a specific extension? I'm currently using a pretty simple ScriptedImporter to get my custom text assets imported, so I'm not worried about adding extra steps to the import if need be, I just want to open this text file with a different program than I would open other text files.
