Question by OmegaExtern · May 10, 2016 at 02:16 PM · unity 5unityeditorvisual studio

Steps for/How to setup a base for "Game from ground-up without using Editor"?

Okay. Now this is not really ideal solution for the problem that some of us experience, but I want to give it a try.

What are steps, from setting-up a working directory down to debugging it using Visual Studio (2015/Enterprise) as my only "tool" at hands?

I am running Windows 10 (64-bit).

Please write step-by-step answer. Help on this would be appreciated!

Did you try all the licensing stuff? https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=unity+manual+licence&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=ubuntu&channel=fs&gfe_rd=cr&ei=CW0wV_L5L6aLtgfn1bXwDQ&gws_rd=ssl

"$$anonymous$$anual activation" ? No, I haven't tried that. Where do I find the file it want (Unity editor crashes/errors immediately after opened)...? Anyway, today, I have decided to down-grade to Windows 8.1. In turn this have fixed a lot of other problems I was experiencing (I couldn't install .NET Framework 2.0/3.5, use git, etc). Right now, I have finished installing Unity and now editor runs normally, everything runs like a charm again.
