How set vive controller with input manager?
Hi! i'm using SteamVR for VR development ,I need to add in button/trigger functionality to vive Controllers. Now on the Unity Documentation for OpenVR, https://docs.unity3d.com/2019.2/Documentation/Manual/OpenVRControllers.html, it looks like all I would need to do to get this working is set one of the inputs to "joystick button #" or whatever axis corresponds to the triggers, then that would allow me to use the Input.getAxis or Input.getButton in a script component.
the problem is that when I have created a basic script to test functionality it looks like the input is not recognized and gives me only zero values.
Does anyone know if there is a way to use the Input Manager with SteamVR? Or a way to overcome this issue? I need to have the info related to the states of the button/axes in order to create a joy message
thank you in advanced!
