Does it has any sense to use the 2D template when the URP looks superior?
I am reading in the description of Universal Render Pipeline template that it has (a part of tons of good things) also nice upgrades for 2D development like "optimized 2D renderer complete with 2D lights and pixel perfect rendering"...
So I should use this template for my new project without any doubt, shouldn't I?
URP is the LWRP renamed. If you want to use the new 2d shadows and other 2d stuff you have to use URP the 2d stuff is not supported by HDRP.
