Safe To Set LightMapping Thread To Higher Priority? Any Point?
Hey folks,
On Windows 7, is it safe to set thebeast.exe process to a higher priority than just 'normal' in task manager? (Eg Above Normal, High, etc)
If it's safe, is there any real gain to be had in terms of time to process?
Cheers!

General advice: no, do not fiddle with priorities of threads, this can actually slow down things since it drains performance from other threads. Only if you understand all threads involved and how they interact, only then you can fiddle with priorities.
